Fire wood
« on: April 13, 2015, 07:32:04 PM »
Started cutting wood for next winter. Cutting cherry trees to 28 in length and splitting since most are 25 to 30 inches in diameter I am thinking I'll only need 7 trees unless it gets 25 below again .Last winter was the coldest for the longest since moving here 14 years ago. Wanted to leave as rounds and split in the fall ,will that work.?

Will dry faster if you split it.
